Client / Brand: Sharp
Company: Vestel
Role: Lead Industrial Designer
Project Type: Home appliance product family
Focus: Product family design / Brand identity / Form language / Implementation
Intro
The Sharp Product Family project focused on creating a consistent and recognizable design language across multiple home appliance products.
The challenge was not only to design individual products, but to build a family identity that could work across different categories, sizes, and technical requirements.
Each product needed to feel part of the same visual world while still responding to its own functional and manufacturing constraints.
The design direction focused on clarity, simplicity, and long-term usability, creating a product family that felt modern, accessible, and aligned with Sharp’s brand presence in the European market.
This project was also an important step in translating design intent into production, where visual decisions had to work together with engineering, cost, tooling, and implementation realities.
